In the USA there are many adults who shorten themselves from getting a general check up due to the fact that there isn't a way for them to stretch out their budget to pay off a doctor bill. "About 44 million people in this country have no health insurance, and another 38 million have inadequate health insurance." Therefore there are one-third of Americans who have no type of way to cover there medical bill nor are able to get medical help for them and their families when they need it. The uninsured usually have no regular doctor and limited access to prescription medications, they are more likely to be hospitalized for health conditions that could have been avoided.
